Esper - Make You Live Again is a kinetic novel that tells the story of Ryo, a young student Esper in an Esper academy.

The Espers are humans with special abilities. They can, when a person is suffering, share the pain and see the past and the memories of that person. Using their powers and their understanding of the problem, the Espers can help the person, and give them the will to live again.

Ryo is a very brilliant student, he has grown up and he's finally ready to become an Esper. The story starts on the day of his final exam, where Ryo will be sent outside of the academy to prove that he can make good use of his abilities. He does not really know a lot about the world outside the academy, and he's even afraid of it somewhat, but he's determined to achieve his goal of becoming an Esper.

Unfortunately for him, he's going to learn that the life of an Esper is not as simple as he thought. Ryo will discover that he's not the Esper he thinks he is, and he'll find himself involved in the dark secrets and pasts of the people around him. He'll have to deal with pain, suffering, lies and death, but also with understanding and love.

Will Ryo accept who he is? Will he be able to understand what's going on around him and save the ones in need? Find out by reading Esper - Make You Live Again.

The novel is originally written in French and is also translated into English. Community translations will be possible.

Esper - Make You Live Again is an indie kinetic novel imagined and developed by Nicolas Mrozik, and realized with the help of Dario Nicolò, Arianna Sabella, Eric Matyas and Alex Carroll.

Nicolas Mrozik

Hi, my name is Nicolas, I'm 39 and I'm from France. I'm doing (and did) a lot of different things in computer science in the past 10 years, from 3D graphics to assistance, and I'm now mainly a web developer. I'm at the origin of the project Esper, a project I started alone in early 2015, and since it evolved a lot to be what it is now.

On Esper, I'm working on the story and the game engine, I'm also the project manager, I'm gathering and giving the work to the artists and I keep track of what must be done and what is already done or not. I ensure that all the work coming from everyone will work once it's put together. And obviously, as a web developer, I did this website.

Dario Nicolò

Hello everyone, I'm Dario and I come from Italy. I've been drawing since the age of 8, starting out self-taught. I attended art school and courses for 3D art and digital design. In Esper, I deal with the character design.

Arianna Sabella

Hello everyone, I'm Arianna Sabella, I was born in 1989 and I come from Palermo, Italy. After studying in art school, I went to a comics school in my town. At 19, I started working as a colorist for many publishers.

Over the years I've worked for: Panini, Bonelli, Disney's Princesses, Jungle! Kids: Le Ranch, De Agostini, Skylanders and more; now with Esper, it's my first time working on a game. This project is so funny and mysterious, and I hope you enjoy it!

Eric Matyas

Hi everyone, I'm Eric from the United States. I love creating original music for kinetic novels, game developers, filmmakers and indie artists. I'm also an indie filmmaker and enjoy making films that connect people with nature.

Alex Carroll

Hi! My name is Alex, but I go by the musical alias Syndroversion. I started to experiment with music production in 2008, and I recently decided to start producing music for games and visual novels. I'm excited to contribute a few tracks to Esper as one of my first major projects!
